Who we are

Atty Alberto Maltoni, born in Milan on 1 March 1964, is admitted to practise law in lower courts and before the Supreme Court and is a member of the Milan Bar.

He particularly values personal relationships with the Firm’s clients, who are informed by him in a timely manner and led in case handling. He has gained in-depth experience in civil law – out-of-court advice, litigation and arbitration.

He is an expert in commercial law and Italian and international contract law, as well as in fiduciary asset management, trust and Real Estate law.

He routinely focuses his practice on contracts/tenders, distribution and agency agreements, insurance brokerage relationships, disputes regarding business loans and facilitated and/or non‑refundable loans.

As a lawyer specialising in marriage law, he handles divorces, separation of property, child custody and court-appointed guardianship for the protection of incompetent persons.

He coordinates and supervises the work of his colleagues from the Firm.

Atty Andrea Maltoni was born in Milan on 11 June 1956. He is admitted to practise law in lower courts and before the Supreme Court and is a member of the Milan Bar.

He coordinates and supervises the work of his colleagues from the firm in multiple practice areas, including Automotive in respect of warranties, product defects, chain distribution; he develops trademark protection; within Italian contract law he also handles sports sponsorship agreements.

He focuses his practice on civil law, concentrating on several areas that are shared with his colleagues reporting to him, e.g. commercial law in regard to purchases and sales, real estate, distribution agreements and deeds of agreement, with a focus on condominium and tenancy problems.
Still with respect to civil matters, together with the labour law staff he extends his work in the field of labour law to agency-related issues.
In the area of compensation for damages, his practice ranges from insurance to medical issues.

In the field of family law, besides separations and divorces, wardship, court-appointed guardianship applications, he personally handles broad-ranging successions, from succession planning to generational changeover-related hereditary issues, also as an executor.

Atty Davide Angelo Natali, born in Milan on 28 August 1971, is admitted to practise law in lower courts, before the Supreme Court and as a juvenile lawyer and is a member of the Milan Bar.

He focuses his practice exclusively on criminal law before Trial Courts, Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Cassation and provides assistance also in juvenile criminal proceedings, in synergy with the other lawyers from the Firm.

He handles issues concerning criminal tax law, financial criminal law, company and bankruptcy law, town planning and environmental law, trademark and copyright protection, as well as workplace accident prevention regulations.

Atty Natali also assists aggrieved parties.

He has been with Studio Legale Maltoni Associato since 2008.

Atty Laura Quattrini, born in Milan on 18 August 1966, is admitted to practise law in lower courts and before the Supreme Court and is a member of the Milan Bar.

As an expert in industrial law, she focuses her practice on intellectual and industrial property, trademarks and patents, know-how and copyright in general, including in relation to software.

She earned a “Master’s Degree in Family Law”: she focuses on marriage law and wardship and supports clients in court.
As a cultural mediator she prevents disputes.

She has been with Studio Legale Maltoni Associato since 2018; before then, she worked for another leading law firm.

Atty Marco Sgroi was born on 22 March 1963 in Piacenza, where he still has his main practice, although he has been collaborating with Studio Legale Maltoni Associato since the 1990s, complementing the other professionals from the firm whenever the case involves major administrative law issues.

He is a member of the Piacenza Bar and is admitted to practise law in lower courts and before the Supreme Court.

His professional practice has been centred mainly around administrative law: he has focused on civil service, town planning, expropriations and contracts/tenders and has sat on executive personnel evaluation teams as a consultant.

He taught Institutes in Public Law and Town Planning and Construction Law at the Cremona and Piacenza branch campuses of Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for over twenty years.

He has taught several training programmes for the Public Administration in the regions of Lombardy, Veneto and Friuli Venezia- Giulia, Marche, and at Local Authorities’ and Local Health Authorities’ Research Centres.

He has authored several publications on administrative organisation, civil service, administrative proceedings, construction, expropriation.

Atty Marco Gianluigi Alberio was born in Saronno on 22 March 1982.

He graduated with full marks, presenting a thesis on labour law, from Università degli Studi di Milano, where he subsequently completed the Postgraduate Course in Labour Law.

He is admitted to practise law in lower courts and before the Supreme Court and is a member of the Milan Bar.

He provides litigation and advisory services mainly in connection with the establishment, management and termination of employment relationships.

He also deals with Civil Law issues.

He is the author of articles published in specialised Labour Law journals (D&L – Rivista Critica di Diritto del Lavoro).
